When processing the personal data with Company, you are the data subject, that means you are the person who’s personal data are collected.
We take privacy seriously. Your personal data are stored securely, in compliance with Company’s security policy and just for the unnecessary time. Access to your personal data have just people commissioned by the Company.
Your personal data are backed-up in compliance with Company’s retention policy. The data will be deleted from the storage immediately, as soon as possible in compliance with the retention policy. Personal data back-ups serve to prevent security incidents, in particular the disruption of data availability due to a security incident.
The company as a provider has the duty to provide your personal data for inspection, surveillance, or at the request of the competent authorities of the state or institutions, as required by special regulations. (3)
In accordance with the Regulation and the Privacy Act, the Company, as a provider, processes your personal data to the extent and under the conditions of the special regulations, under the statutory conditions referred to in Art. 6 Regulations.
We are processing a common category of personal data. We process your personal information when registering for the event on the basis of a contract (pre-contractual relationship) in which you are one of the parties. Failure to provide your personal information at registration may result in failure to participate in the event. We store your personal data 2 years after the termination of the contract.
It is in the legitimate interest of the Company to maintain a client database, including information about the persons who have participated in events in the past. The database of our clients and participants helps us to respond effectively to your requirements and to prepare activities for you, according to your preferences. We process your personal data for this purpose for the duration and preparation of the events.
We may process your personal information, including photos taken at the events and publishing them on our website, on the basis of the Company’s legitimate interest in presenting and informing about its activities. We will always notify you in advance of taking photos and give you the option to reject the photo. When publishing photos, the company is careful not to interfere with your rights and freedoms.
You may object to storing your personal data in the client database or publication of photos directly in the company by person, telephone or email.
Your personal data is retained for 10 years after the expiration of the contract, due to the statutory obligations of the Company to meet accounting and tax and obligations.
Personal data are processed for the purposes of accounting and tax obligations mainly under Act no. 431/2002 Cod. Accounting, Act No. 222/2004 Cod. Value Added Tax, Act No. 40/1964 Cod. Civil Code. We process your personal data through the intermediary of EKONOM-CENTER, Ltd. We have chosen the intermediary very carefully; we considered the professional qualities and the compliance with the law. We store the personal data in accordance with the Act no. 395/2002 Cod. archives and registers.
We use analytics tools – Google Analytics and cookies on our QuBit Conference and QuBit Academy websites to improve the quality of our services. We use these tools only for statistical purpose. We do not process personal data in them or do not use them for retrieval of personal data. The tools also do not serve to identify the persons. Your rights as a data subject
Right to access and to be informed
You have the right to be provided with a copy of the personal data we store about you, as well as information about how we use them. Your personal data will be provided to you in written form unless you request another way. If you request the data by electronic means, you will be provided electronically if technically possible.
Right to rectification
We do our best to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information we collect. If you believe that the data we have is inaccurate or incomplete or out of date, please do not hesitate to ask us to modify, update or complete this information.
Right to erasure
You have the right to ask us to delete your personal data, for example, if the personal information we have no longer fulfills the original purpose of the processing. However, your right must be assessed in the light of all relevant circumstances. For example, we may have some legal and regulatory obligations, which means we will not be able to meet your request.
Restrict to restrict processing
You are entitled to ask us not to use your personal information under certain circumstances. This is the case, for example, when you believe that the personal information we have about you may be inaccurate or if you believe that we no longer need your personal data.
Right to data portability
You have the right to ask us to transfer your personal data to another third party under certain circumstances. However, the right to portability concerns only personal data that we have obtained from you on the basis of consent or under a contract of which you are one of the parties.

You have the right to object to the processing of data that is based on our legitimate interests. If you object to such processing of personal data, we will investigate and evaluate your objection. If your rights will outweigh the legitimate interests of the Company, we will not further process your personal data for that purpose.

If you want complain about the way your personal data is processed, including the exercise of the above rights, you can contact the Company directly. We will review all your complaints.
